The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with all NELS centers  organizing a CPR awareness week from 13th-17th October, 2025.
As per the schedule the NELS centre of KMC started CPR program which is inaugurated by honourable principal Dr.Sandhya Anil .
The program started with pledge at 10.30am 13/10/2025 by the union ministry of health and family welfare. After that Started COLS demonstration for Students of Kakatiya medical college , Hanamkonda, warangal .More than 250 students Attended. KMC Principal Represents Institution at
International Alumni Convention

Kakatiya Medical College (KMC) Principal, Dr. Sandhya Sunkaraneni, proudly represented the institution at the OGKTMA (Osmania, Gandhi, Kakatiya & Telangana Medical Alumni) Annual Convention 2025, held on 6th September 2025 at Louisville Marriot East, Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

As part of the event, Dr. Sandhya participated in the poster launch of KRITI–2025 (Kakatiya Research Initiative for Transformative Innovations), a prestigious national-level academic fest organized annually by the Alumni to encourage and nurture research culture among medical students. KRITI–2025 is tentatively scheduled for the end of this year.

Addressing the international gathering, Dr. Sandhya appreciated the Alumni’s consistent efforts in strengthening KMC and expressed gratitude for their continuous support. She also outlined her vision for the institution’s future, including the establishment of a Pain Clinic for hospice care, infrastructure development with improved hostels , and mentorship support for students aspiring for USMLE and international opportunities.

The NRI Alumni extended their strong support for these initiatives and reaffirmed their commitment to the growth and development of KMC.
