General Information :

• Total Number of Beds: 1035
• The hospital provides multispecialty patient care across various disciplines and is committed to offering medical services to all patients who seek care. The standards of service are influenced by patient load and resource availability, yet the hospital prioritizes courteous and prompt attention for all patients and their relatives.

Enquiry, Reception, and Registration Services

• The enquiry and registration counter operates 24/7.
• Location guide maps are available throughout the hospital.
• Colour-coded guidelines and directional signboards are strategically placed for easy navigation.

Casualty & Emergency Services

• Casualty services are available around the clock.
• A duty doctor is present at all times, with specialist doctors on call from resident doctors.
• Emergency services cover all specialties as listed in the OPD services.
• Operation Theatres:
• Major Operation Theatres: 16
• Minor Operation Theatres: 3
• Elective surgeries are performed throughout the week, and the emergency operation theatre operates continuously. In critical cases, treatment takes precedence over paperwork.

Outpatient Department (OPD) Services

• Specialist consultations are available in OPDs on all working days, excluding Sundays and Gazetted Holidays, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Laboratory Services

• Routine Laboratory Services: Available in the fields of:
• Biochemistry
• Microbiology
• Hematology
• Serology
• Histopathology
• A Central Collection Centre is designated for specimen collection, operating from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for OPD and round the clock for IPD. Emergency laboratory services are available 24 hours for limited tests.

Radio Diagnostic Services

• Routine services include X-Rays and Ultrasound, with timings as follows:
• OPD: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• IPD: Round the clock

Complaints & Grievances

Patients are encouraged to register complaints to help improve services. All grievances will be acknowledged, and genuine complaints will be addressed within 10 working days. Suggestion/complaint boxes are located throughout the hospital, and
the contact details of the nodal officer are displayed at the reception.

Responsibilities of the Users The success of this charter relies on the cooperation of users. Patients are requested to:

• Understand the constraints under which the hospital operates, as it serves over
  700,000 OPD patients and 150,000 emergency patients annually.
• Maintain decorum and avoid inconveniencing other patients.
• Keep the hospital premises clean and use facilities responsibly.
• Report any instances of touting, as the hospital is a "No Smoking Zone" and smoking is a punishable offense.
• Avoid demanding undue favors from staff, as this promotes corruption.
• Provide constructive feedback and suggestions to the Medical Superintendent.
