Student Activity Centre: Fostering Engagement at Kakatiya Medical College - Kakatiya Medical College: Pioneering Excellence in Medical Training and Research

Game of Treatments- A unique medical questionnaire, was inaugurated on 21st September 2019, by Principal of KMC, Dr.S.Sandhya Mam and Associate professor of Internal Medicine, MGM, Dr. Pavan Kumar Sir. Six teams competed in this game and the winner was crowned with a souvenir.

2nd Day of Spectrum'19 was presided over and judged by Post Graduates of Internal Medicine, Dr.Praveen Kumar Sir & Dr.Rajender Sir on 22-09-19,at 4pm. Events constituted of Poetry; Story; Article; Love letter writing; Pictionary ; Pot and Face painting.

On 22-09-19, at 6 am, A 5 km health run was organized by the students ,from KMC to Public gardens, Warangal which was presided over by Narsaiah Garu, ACP- Warangal. As a part of this health run, students created awareness amongst people regarding lung cancer. This was followed by a flash mob conducted by final year students,at public gardens, Warangal.

Human library, An initiative to exchange ideas was conducted in the NRI Alumni Hall, on 22-09-19 at 2pm. This was presided over by Chief guest, Dr.Shobha Paul, HOD-Microbiology, MNR Medical College, Sangareddy. And included speeches by Dr.Shobha Paul Mam, Dr.Ramakrishna Sir, Dr.Bharat Sir, Dr.Pavan Kumar Sir, Dr.Praveen Kumar Sir, Dr.Rajender Sir and few students.

Uthkarsha 2019 day 4 impulse a relay sport was conducted in the morning which comprised of running, cycling, tyre dragging and hurdle race in which the students participated energetically and sure true sportsmenship

The students showcased their talent via beautiful clay molding greeting card making, micro art and had a fun time playing anthakshari

On 24-9-19,A rangoli competition was held in KMC's ground. This was judged by HOD of Preventive and Social Medicine, Dr. Poonam Kumari Jha . Students displayed their creative skills as a part of this program. And the rest of the day continued with students getting involved in various sports activities.

Direttero - a short film festival was held in the evening of 24-09-2019 at KMC's old auditorium. As a part of this event students displayed their acting and directing skills via short films.

Samskruti: Traditional day was held on 25-9-19, in the NRI Alumni Hall. As a part of this event students decked up themselves according to our country's culture and tradition and represented various states. This event was graced upon by Dr.S.Sandhya , Principal of KMC ; Dr. Hima Bindu, professor of Pharmacology, HOD of Preventive and Social Medicine,Dr. Poonam Kumari Jha mam.

Dholida: Dandiya night was held in the evening on 25-9-19 at KMC Ground. As a part of this event, students of different years gave Dandiya and Garba performances. Fire works donned the sky as a mark of celebration of this event. It was presided over by many of the faculty members.

Blood donation campaign, was held on 26-9-19 in the AC Seminar hall of Kakatiya Medical College. As a part of this campaign , many students and professors contributed to this noble deed by donating their blood.

"The Carnival"- A night filled with fun, food ,games and music, was hosted by the final years at KMC's ground, on 26-9-19. As a part of Cos-play, students decked up themselves to the likes of their favourite characters and enjoyed to their fullest.
